HAPPY NEW YEAR

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy New Year, Everyone!
As 2016 comes to a close, I want to say ‘thank you’ for your continuous support with the dojo over the past year.
I am extremely proud of our students. They have worked so hard, pushed themselves to improve their physical and technical abilities, overcame adversity and strengthened their character in the process. From training and belt testing to talent shows and competitions, I am constantly impressed and proud of everyone for their perseverance, heart, and growth.
Also, a big thank you to our leadership crew (Senseis and Sempais)! You make the dojo a fun and safe place to learn karate, and are all wonderful role models for our students. You are helping to shape the future of our school!
I really appreciate our parents for their continuous involvement and support. You have organized karate birthday parties, arranged carpooling, driven to trainings and competitions and even volunteered for our dojo at competitions. Thank you for being an integral part of West Van Karate Academy.
Looking ahead to 2017, I can’t help being excited for what the year ahead has in store for the dojo.
Thank you to our students and parents for making my role as sensei such a rewarding one!
See you in the New Year! Bring on 2017!
