NATIONALS UPDATE

Nationals 2018 is officially finished!

What an event. We are extremely proud of all our competitors for doing such a tremendous job. Medal or not, each athlete fought like a champion and represented well!

Here are our dojo’s results:

These three have all qualified to team Canada!

Parvin Mayan – Gold in Women’s -61kg, Silver in U21 -61kg
Kole Macmillan – Gold in 14/15 -57kg, Bronze in 16/17 -55kg
Keira Szeto – Silver in 12/13 -35kg

Congratulations to the rest of the Karate BC provincial team as well. We killed it this year, finishing first overall both in total medal count, and also gold medals!

Congratulations to Sensei Matt Bickel for passing is Sandan evaluation and also to Sensei Sandeep Gill from Burnaby Karate Academy for passing his Godan Evaluation! Way to go!
