SUMMER CAMP WEEK #1
Come and join us for some extra karate fun! We will be holding a karate style summer camp from July 11th-15th from 9am-2pm for students age 6-12. A typical day of camp involves kata practice, kumite practice, games, obstacle courses, team building challenges, break falls/take downs, introduction to competition, and in case I didn’t mention it already… more games! Weather permitting, we will also be heading outside to the nearby playground for some outdoor training. Finally, we will be holding a testing specifically for all camp participants on the last day of camp for either a new stripe or belt (if a student already has three stripes on their belt). Newcomers and friends are welcome as well Please contact us today to reserve your spot!
HIGH PERFORMANCE CAMP WITH LUIS PLUMACHER
Based on the positive feedback from the last session, we have decided to bring back Luis for another session. He will be in Vancouver Sunday, June 12th. Training will be held at Hollyburn Country Club. This training is restricted to athletes training for the BC Team age 12 years and older. Spaces are limited, so please contact us ASAP to reserve your spot.
GROUSE GRIND
We’re excited to once again take on the grouse grind this summer! For students and families interested, we will be taking two groups up the grind this year; the first group includes students age 8-11, and the second group is for students age 12 and up. Please stay tuned for dates and times regarding this event. Parents and siblings are encouraged to attend!
