APRIL UPDATE

APRIL UPDATE

Hi Everyone,

1 – Dojo Party

Early in the month we had our dojo party/open house, and I am happy to say that it was a huge success and a lot of fun! Thank you to all who stopped by to say hi, and of course to all the parents who were able to help out.

2 – Competition season is finally here!

On Saturday May 3rd, we will have have the honor of hosting the Golden League Tournament. Many top athletes will be there, and it will be a wonderful opportunity to test your skills and have a fun introduction to tournaments. If you’re interested in competing/attending, please contact us to let us know.

On Saturday May 31st. We’ll be sending some of our top athletes to represent us at the Karate BC Provincial Championships at the Richmond Olympic Oval. These athletes qualified earlier in the year to compete at this tournament, and have been training at a high intensity to prepare for this challenging event. Good luck to all of our athletes!

3 – Testing

We will be having our next testing on Thursday, May 29th.

With a focused mind and willing spirit, anything is possible. Keep working hard because the sky is the limit!

4 – School programs!

We’ve started are ‘Kicking out Cancer’ campaign in both public and private schools. So far we’ve had the privilege of instructing the students of both West Bay Elementary and also Mulgrave school and had a wonderful time doing so. It was a great to chance to teach students basic karate techniques, have fun, and support an extremely worthwhile cause.

If you are interested in having us out to your school, contact us either in person at the dojo or call/email. We’d love to come and help out!

April has been a very eventful month. Thank you to all for your continuous support, for this success would not be possible without you all.

See you in class!
