Last weekend our champions competed at the Junior Pan-American Championships in São Paulo, Brazil. Unfortunately no podium placements at this event for us, however that’s part of the game. Winning and losing are both valuable in their own way. What’s most important is what we do afterwards and how we move forward.
That said, we couldn’t be more proud of these guys. They trained hard, fought hard, and did their best. We also had some extremely close matches against the medalists, so we know we’re on the right track.
Special shout out to Nikita Knickle for his performance and qualification to represent Canada at the Jr. World Championships in Venice, Italy next month. 👏👏👏
Also thank you to Alexander Knickle for travelling down to support the team 💪
