STRIPE AND BELT TESTING
Date: Wednesday November 30th and Thursday December 1st
Please wear your full uniform (pants, jacket, and belt), and be on time.
Practice hard and you’ll do great!
BC PROVINCIALS
All students who qualified earlier this year will be representing our dojo at this year’s Karate Provincial Championships. Please feel free to come out and support us at this event as we qualify our athletes for the provincial team!
Date: December 2nd and December 3rd
BC Team divisions compete Sunday December 3rd, non-elite divisions compete Saturday December 2nd.
Time: 9-5pm each day
Location: Richmond Olympic Oval
BC WINTER GAMES TRYOUTS
Date: Sunday December 10th
Time: 9am-5pm
Location: Peretz Center (Vancouver)
Who can attend: Students who are either 12 or 13 years old and have previously competed at a provincial championship.
HOLIDAY DATES
Please note the dojo will be closed for Christmas break from December 25th to January 7th. There will be no classes during this time. Enjoy the time off and be ready to train hard in January and start the new year off right!
PARENTS NIGHT OUT (ROUND 2)
Due to overwhelming feedback and positivity from the students, we’ve decided to hold another parents night out event!
The date is still being decided, but will most likely be held sometime in February!
Please read below for event details:
Students aged 6-12 our invited to join us for a night of fun and games and pizza at the dojo! During this time, parents are encouraged to go out and enjoy themselves and have some fun too.
While parents are out and about, students at the dojo will be playing games and other fun group activities that are great for building friendships and having an awesome time – team challenges, relay races, arts/crafts, and even some karate too. Dinner (pizza!) will be provided to all students in attendance.
