Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all staying warm!

Also, we’ve recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary! It has been a pleasure working with all the wonderful families in our dojo, and we are grateful for our community! Thank you for your ongoing support over the years.

  1. Parents Night Out (Friday January 26th)
    • Students can be dropped off for 6pm and picked up 8:45-9:00pm. We’ll play karate team games and challenges, enjoy some pizza dinner, and play Nintendo switch! Please stay tuned for this event’s registration email. Spaces are limited for this event.
  2. Stripe and Belt Testing (Wednesday January 31st, Thursday February 1st)
    • This applies to students up to half-blue belt. Please remember to spend some time at home to prepare. Also, be sure to check our YouTube page for some assistance, and select the appropriate playlist for your belt-level.
  3. Competition Classes (Wednesday Feb 7th )
    • We’ll be resuming our competition program starting Wed Feb 7th, with sessions running every Wednesday evening from 8pm-9pm.  The sessions’ focus will be solely on  competition preparation for upcoming BC Team selection events. These classes are reserved for students 12+ with an interest  in pursuing competition at an elite level (BC Team, Team Canada, etc.). If interested in attending, please reach out so we can add you to our mailing list with all competition-related information.
  4. Golden League and Skills Competition (Saturday February 17th)
    • We will be hosting our annual Golden League Kumite Cup and Skills Competition! These events are a perfect opportunity for students to test out competition in a supportive, and safe environment. Please stay tuned for more details and registration email.
